Dear All, Which course is good B.E(C.S) or B.E(I.T)?

My cousin is planning his B.E (Either C.S or I.T) ,which course is good scope in future. Is there any difference, pls specify that too.

im an information technology student. actually the two are almost equal but the main difference that i see is that computer science used to deal with generic systems, for example they could make games on their own while information technology used to deal with transaction processing systems like those that were used by a certain company like payroll system and etc.





but actually there's not much difference between the two aside from the thing that cs student are trained more on the mathematics side.

it's also a good school. its hailed as ched center for development in information technology education.
Reply:In India typically they are same. But in birds view C.S is better. Theoretical difference is :-


I.T mainly deals with service oriented approach . Basally your bread and bruter. What you have to do for your rest life. But C.S contain some Theoretical approach. This might helps you in future as Indian IT scenario is dynamic now. In the upcoming situation C.S might gives you slight edge.
