Are first aid courses with St. John's Ambulance free?

I can't find any pricing online. I need to know how much it costs. Has anyone taken CPR LEVEL C or STANDARD FIRST AID courses? How much did it cost (ball park)? I am a student and I don't have a lot of cash right now.





Just an aside...Also, does anyone know how often these courses are offered. So for example, can I walk in and sign up today and be in the class for next week?

I believe the ball park figure for a commercial course (i.e. for non members) with St John Ambulance is £100-200. Of course, this cost is normally paid for by an employer. However, if you are interested in First Aid, CPR, AED (Defibs), you should consider joining your local division (or if you are a student at a uni, they may have a LINKS unit.) The training will then be supplied in return for your time.
