Courses I want to play are in N.C and S.C. around Charlotte and M. B. S.C.
How can I get the cost to play golf on public courses?
Look up the course name on the internet and then see if they have prices on the course website, or just call the proshop and ask. They're happy to tell you over the phone, and you can ask if they have discounted rates ever.

Reply:If you have your handicap registered on Yahoo sports you can get alot of info on courses on the courses home page.
It lists alot of couses by state, county, city etc
