Is c++ the best programming course to get a career out of ??
Hi there....

Doing a course and passing and actually being a good programmer are generally not the same thing. Good programming comes from experience and as I discovered working with your mentors, taking their experiences and your own and blending them.

The question to ask yourself perhaps is do you love programming? If you do ANY programming course and/or challenge will verse you for any programming language in your future.

I have a degree in Chemistry and now earn 4 times the national average working for a software company, however I do not programme. I discovered in my career that once you become a programmer you are not able to jump to management so easy, especially if you are a good programmer. Companies want to keep you doing what you are good at!

What do I know about C and C++. Its a pretty wide reaching language set. You can work in the Microsoft, Unix and Linux arenas. So a good choice.... Make sure you also learn SQL and similar!

Good luck!
Reply:Depends on the field you want to go into. I would recommend c# (c sharp) for .net framework. It is the next best thing.
Reply:You could also look at c#. It depends a little on which business sector you are interested in.
Reply:I've tried it it doesn't work.Download it from Microsoft -- see if you can make sense of it.
Reply:Yes! C++ is... best! qualified people in C++ ,very few... but all of them are good employer having high salary since C++ programmers are hard to find.
Reply:C %26amp; C++ are widely used for product development, If you are doing some certified course then that is good.....basically the choice of programming language depends on the problem
