Shold I do C language In computer before C++ or C++ before C?

I am interested in doing a short term computer course before joining the engeneering college. Should I go for C language or C++? Both are new to me

Every one should learn "C" before C++. Becoz "C" is basic foundation for all the other programming laguages.





C++ is based on C only.





My advice is " Learn C perfect". It will also helps in u r B.Tech.





Now a days every Software Company asking knowledge in "C" only.





I hope u will get good knowledge on C and other languages.

Reply:hi mbj, i think its better to ask some other people 2 before final decision. ny way i agree dat c is d mother of all comp. lang. but ulll first have to check out dat in how much time u can learn c, if time is less den u shld( rather v shld) go on 4 C++. beta councelling ke liye bhi jana hoga!

Reply:basically the algorithm or the way in which you write a code,say looping statements etc,are the same for both C and C++.Only the syntax differs and also some advances in C++...I recommend u go for C and then for C++
Reply:If both the languages are new to you, I'd suggest you to go for C++. C++ is built on top of C, and supports more features than C. If time is a constraint and you want to be able to get up and running as fast as possible, opt for C.
